Carrington Textiles, the largest producer of workwear fabrics in the UK, is launching MOLVENO, an exciting new fabric for the workwear segment that features LYCRA® T400® technology . This hard-wearing fabric for workwear will debut at Techtextil 2019 and offers 4-way comfort stretch that flexes to follow a worker’s every move and moisture management. As a result, MOLVENO qualifies for both LYCRA® fiber and COOLMAX® technology branding and is eligible for free swing tags to drive sales.

Performance Fabric at Work

MOLVENO is specially engineered to transport moisture from the wearer’s skin to the surface of the fabric where it quickly evaporates to keep the wearer cool, dry and comfortable. This additional benefit will appeal to workers who are physically active or have to work outdoors in warm weather. Best of all, MOLVENO’s performance benefits are permanent and will stand up to a punishing workday, industrial washing, and even chlorine.

Comfort and Durability Matter

“Our customers know we won’t compromise on product quality or performance, and we understand that workwear needs to deliver comfort and durability,” said Kirsty Kirk, Research & Development Manager, Carrington Textiles. “In order to create the best workwear fabrics, we start with the quality materials which is why we’ve adopted LYCRA® T400® fiber for three of our most advanced stretch fabrics.”

More Stretch Fabric Options

Carrington views The LYCRA Company as a valuable source of inspiration and innovation when developing its workwear fabrics, and the mill offers two additional stretch fabrics powered by LYCRA® T400® fiber:

LEVICO is a moisture-wicking fabric that offers flexible 2-way stretch and is also COOLMAX® technology certified. The industrially washable fabric is designed to deliver optimal stretch for a comfortable wearing experience.

DYNAMO was the company’s first industrially washable stretch fabric. In addition to providing lasting stretch and shape retention, this fabric has excellent color and crease retention properties.
